Our History
Coastal Career Academy was founded by Debra Gomes, R.N. in 1999. The Coastal Career Academy seen today began with various classrooms throughout southeastern Massachusetts. In an effort to provide quality career training for entry-level healthcare professionals, Debra Gomes, R.N. and her team continued to expand the courses and training offered, by opening a school in New Bedford, MA. After assessing the needs of the region and undergoing exponential and organic grown, Coastal Career Academy moved to a larger location in Fall River, MA. There, the Coastal Career Academy staff continues to serve the southeastern region.
